Pinout (TO-220 Package):
- Pin 1 (Base):
- The base of the transistor, where a small input current is supplied to turn on the transistor.
- Pin 2 (Collector):
- The collector pin, through which the high current flows when the transistor is switched on. It is the input for the power side of the circuit.
- Pin 3 (Emitter):
- The emitter pin, through which the current exits the transistor and flows to the load.
